We believe the people who work and access the Port of Albany deserve to be protected from harm while performing their duties. This is why every person who accesses the Port must undergo an online induction process, as well as other screening requirements.
Any person who requires unescorted access to the Port of Albany for operational purposes, must apply for a Maritime Security Identity Card (MSIC) and successfully complete an online induction.
If you’re looking to visit the Port but are not planning to work or conduct business with us, you will need to be supervised by an authorised MSIC holder at all times. You will also be taken through a hard copy pamphlet outlining key HSES information relevant to the Port by a qualified member of staff.
