Workplace Health, Safety & Security

The Port of Bunbury maintains strict security protocols to ensure the safety of our people and the greater community. In order to meet this commitment, only authorised individuals are granted access to the Port’s Maritime Security Zone.

By law, any person seeking to gain unescorted access to the Port of Bunbury must hold a valid Maritime Security Identification Card  (MSIC). An online induction must also be successfully completed. Anyone entering the Port as a visitor will be taken through a hard copy pamphlet outlining key HSES information relevant to the Port by a qualified member of staff.

We are committed to complying with the Maritime Security and Offshore Facilities Security Act 2003, and other regulations that govern ports in Australia. This page is designed to give you important information about how we make your Port safer.

You will find detailed instructions about access eligibility, as well as requirements for entry in the sections below.
