Escorted access
If you would like to access Bunbury Port as a visitor, you will need to apply for escorted access. This means you will be supervised by someone with a valid MSIC during your visit. You will also be taken through a hard copy pamphlet outlining key HSES information relevant to the Port by a qualified member of staff.

Unescorted access
There are two types of security access within Southern Ports Port of Bunbury.
TYPE 1 (MSIC) - THE PORT OF BUNBURY LAND AND WATER SIDE SECURITY ZONE WHEN SHIP IS ALONGSIDE THE BERTH.
This is a restricted access area and you will be required to hold a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).

TYPE 2 (PAC) - THE PORT OF BUNBURY SECURITY REGULATED PORT AREA
Entry to the Security Regulated Port Area will require a Port Access Card (PAC).
The PAC card has restricted Berth access. Strictly NO Berth access whilst a vessel is alongside the Berth.
the Port of Bunbury Port Access Card is available for:
- All Areas
- Inner Harbour (Southern Side Only)
- Inner Harbour (Northern Side Only)
- Inner Harbour (All Areas)
- Outer Harbour
- Southern Ports Administration Office

Revoking access
The Port of Bunbury may revoke access to any individual who does not comply with the standards of behaviour outlined in the induction training. We take safety and security at Bunbury Port seriously, which is why we remove non-compliant individuals from the premises.
