With a long history and deep connections to the local community, Southern Ports is committed to the long term success of the town its people and the broader region.

We demonstrate our commitment to the community in a number of important ways such as providing a range of employment opportunities across trade and corporate roles, as well as apprenticeship and work placement opportunities. 

We run a Port Community Consultation Committee which meets quarterly and is made up of local residents who provide us with valuable insight into issues of concern to the community. 

Our annual Community Sponsorship program is a practical way for us to support worthy local organisations and events that make a difference to town and the region.
