More than 15,000 people docked at Southern Ports’ Port of Albany over the 2023-24 cruise season, after a winter visit from the Pacific Explorer on Thursday (13 June).
Southern Ports welcomed representatives from the Consulate-General of Japan, including Consul-General Yasushi Naito and Vice-Consul Noeru Hara, to discuss trade efficiencies and commodities between regions.
Berth refurbishment works at Southern Ports Authority’s regional ports at Albany and Bunbury are set to commence after WA-based TAMS Group was awarded two contracts totalling $4.5 million.
